Charyn Canyon
- This is an amazing and mystical lake located in the Tien Shan mountains in Kazakhstan. It was formed in 1911 after an earthquake that caused a huge landslide that blocked the river and created a natural dam. Lake Kaindy is famous for its flooded forest, where the trunks of fir trees rise from the crystal clear, turquoise waters.
- Located in Charyn National Park and stretches over 150 kilometers, showcasing the dramatic rock formations formed by the Charyn River over millions of years. The canyon's vibrant colors and intricate shapes make it a geological wonder. One of the most famous parts of the canyon is the "Valley of Castles", known for its high rock structures reminiscent of ancient fortresses.
